Here's a quick update on Entrepreneurship 2190, a class that meets for an hour every Tuesday, and has quickly become one of my favorite classes at Trinity. Not only has it inspired creativity within me, but the class has also taught me about working with other people and my roles and strengths within a group. Aside from that, the class provides a real world perspective that is unique to college life. Last night, the class was able to meet people from Code Up, a company founded by a Trinity Alum. Code Up is a program where people can learn to code, and the people who have gone through the Code Up curriculum throughout the past twelve weeks came to hear about our ideas. Code Up came to our Entrepreneurship class to see if they connected with any of our ideas enough to make them their Capstone project. This was a rewarding experience because looking at the technical side of an app and or website is the only way to make headway in creating one. Also, we were able to pitch our idea several times throughout the class period which not only improved our knowledge of our idea but also our cohesiveness as a group.
