First Day of Class!

Today was my first official day as a college student. I only had one class today, my first year seminar taught by Dr. Martinez. Every first year student at Trinity has a first year seminar either fall or spring semester. They are designated to be a discussion based class from which you explore various perspectives on the theme of the class. My first year seminar is called Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurial Behavior. During the class, while going over the syllabus, our class was able to catch a glimpse of the entrepreneurs we could become. At night, Diana Holt, the attorney in our reading TUgether book, An Anatomy of Injustice: A Murder Case Gone Wrong written by Raymond Bonner. Holt gave a talk about her backstory, her career working as a criminal lawyer, and working with Edward Lee Elmore. Her story was both motivating and awe-inspiring and as her talk came to a close she called up Elmore and both of them answered questions from my fellow peers. It was a remarkable experience that cap-stoned my first day of classes.
