So this may be premature, because well frankly, it's not Christmas yet. However, Trinity has this festive tradition of having a pre-Christmas on Oakmont street. Oakmont is the street where our President, Vice President, and where other high administrators live. The event happens after Vespers, which is where everyone gathers in our chapel and we all sing Christmas songs. The choir is there to guide all of use (and make everyone sound better!). However, Christmas on Oakmont specifically refers to a two hour period where all houses on Oakmont are open and filled with food, drinks, and sometimes even Santa! The whole street is filled with luminarias, live music, and lights. The whole experience was such a great break from studying for finals and just a wonderful way to relax. This year was special because Entrepreneurship Hall had a house on Oakmont! We had churros and hot chocolate, which definitely make the list for one of the best combinations.

Another wonderful event to get everyone in the Christmas spirit is the Annual Christmas Concert where the whole school, alumni, and faculty all gather in Laurie Auditorium (the place we graduate) to listen to our crazy talented choir and orchestra. To be completely honest I didn't even realize a group of voices could sound so majestic. Anyways, these these fun traditions really shed light on a joyous time and provided a nice interlude to studying.
